Kansas City, MO | January 2, 2025 – Petersen Consulting Services, a longstanding leader in agricultural professional services, is rebranding as Petersen & Company. This new name pays tribute to founder Bob Petersen, who retired in 2024, and reflects the firm’s outlook for growth – pairing its founders’ essential contributions with new partners and associates to expand the firm’s offerings and client base.
“Renaming the firm Petersen & Company is a tribute to my father’s contributions and a symbol of our ongoing commitment to the industry he cared so deeply about,” said Erica Venancio, the firm’s principal and Bob’s daughter. “As we step forward, we do so with optimism and a renewed sense of purpose to support our clients in navigating the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
Since its establishment, Petersen Consulting Services has been a trusted advisor across the agricultural industry, providing strategic insights, member relations, event management, and communications expertise to businesses and associations. The transition to Petersen & Company builds on this legacy, conveying both a commitment to the company’s roots and an eye toward future growth and innovation in the agricultural sector.
Zach Helder, Senior Manager at Petersen & Company, added, “This rebranding is more than a name change; it’s a commitment to our clients and our shared future. Bob built his firm to thrive and grow well after his own departure, and he and Erica positioned the firm to serve the industry and community of agriculture in a time of incredibly rapid change. As we add expertise – in management, public policy, and analytics – the firm stands ready to offer one-stop consulting services, which ag institutions need and have struggled to find.”
Under its new name, Petersen & Company will retain its commitment to exceptional service for clients and the advancement of the entire community of agriculture. The rebranding is effective immediately, and clients can expect seamless continuity in services.
